what's the meaning of all of this?

Page Groups
Every page of your website, except the home page.  Your pages can be grouped as you like and edited with ease.

Home Page
This is the “face” of your website; the page users see when they first arrive to your site.  This page has its own tab and is differentiated from the other pages and articles within the site.

Right Bar

This bar can be turned on and off to make it site-wide and runs along the right-hand side of the site.  This is why we call it a “right bar” and not necessarily a “left bar.”  Although some call it “your other left bar.”   You can toggle the right bar on and off under the Settings Section

Left Bar

Your “other right bar.”

Header

The section at the very top of the page, right below the browser's address bar.  Here, you can put your site's name and/or logo.  This header is also site-wide.

Footer
The bottom of the page, also site-wide.  This section allows you to put all of your address details as well.  Also see the Settings Section to adjust copyright dates, etc.

CSS
Cascading Style Sheets...

Site-wide

This refers to content that is visible throughout the site, regardless of what page and/or article one is viewing.  Examples of a site-wide piece include the header and footer.

WYSIWYG

“What You See Is What You Get.”  We love acronyms here at spotlets, mostly because our Caps Lock keys are stuck.  The WYSIWYG feature allows you to edit the content of your pages with the same ease as creating a word document or writing an e-mail.
