Submitting A Trouble Ticket



Clicking the support button (support___support_icon) in the upper right hand corner of editspot will bring you to the Support Tab:

From here, you have three options:

          1. Search the "help!" Section  support___search_help_
2. Search the Forums
 support - search forums_1
       3. Submit a Trouble Ticket  support___submit_ticket

Let's see what each one does...


Search The "Help!" Section


Search the "help!" Section and you'll be sent here, the Spotlets Help! Page.  Simply type in a keyword and click the "search 'help!'" button.  You will then be sent to the Help! Home Page


Search The Forums


Type in a keyword and click the "search forums'" button.  From there, you will be sent to the spotlets forum, where you can find answers to your questions and converse with other spotters. 

Adding a post is easy!

1.  After clicking the search forums button, click the login button in the upper right hand corner of the Forums Section.  Simply use the same username and password as your spotlets login:

2.  Choose which forum you would like to join or add a comment to.  For our purposes, we will click on the first forum topic, "spotlet support":

Note: You can always click the "Board Index" button (support___forum___board_index) to return to the forum topics.

3.  Here, we see David's first post welcoming all of the fellow spotters:

4.  To reply to David's post, click the "Post Reply" button: support___forum___post_reply_icon

 
5.  Post your reply as you like:

6.  Click either "Save", "Preview", or "Submit":

7.  If you click "Submit", your reply will be posted:

support___forum___post_reply_post

And there you have it!  It's as easy as that!

For other forum questions, you can always click the FAQ button next to the login button in the upper right hand corner:

Submitting A Trouble Ticket


Tickets function the same way as numbers dolled out at a deli.  Submitting a ticket allows the Help Support Team to answer individual questions as they come in. We will do out best to get back to you in a timely manner.

Submitting a Trouble Ticket is easy!

1.  After clicking the submit ticket button, you will be asked to log in.  Simply use the same username and password as your spotlets login:

2.  Select your language, and the click login button ( support___ticket_login_button):

3.  Here, you will see all of your prior tickets.  To add a new ticket, click the new ticket icon ( support__new_ticket_icon ) on the Ticket Toolbar:

4.  Write your ticket.  Make sure to choose who to send the ticket to (ie, Postmaster, etc.) and the priority (ie normal, etc.) :

5.  Click submit (support - ticket - submit_1), and your ticket is done!

6.  As you can see, the ticket you just submitted is now listed under your MyTickets tab.
